Til the wheels fall off...

I present the first pair of "fallen soldiers" since I began my new diet/lifestyle change/running routine thingy. At my current pace, two more days of running would put them over 100 miles, but my health coach (Jessica) mentioned that they looked like they were ready to cause an ankle-breaking inducing fall (sound off in the poll to voice your opinion). So, without further ado...

This picture doesn't really show the gaping holes on each side of the shoes. He might as well run in flip flops.

Ouch! Man, buy yourself some new shoes! I go about 300 miles on my shoes before I retire them to the yardwork shoe!

Do we need to start a fund? maybe have a carwash to get some new shoes?

300 miles?!? I guess I'm buying the wrong shoes. These did just get relegated to yard work, and they did play a basketball game or two, but for the most part, their life was used up on the asphalt.

What brand of shoes do you get? I've obviously got to get some new shoes...give me your secret brand! I always thought New Balance was the best value.

yes 300 miles, but that is all I wewar those shoes for, nothing else!

As far as brand, I have had all kinds, Asics, Nike, Brooks and New Balance. Right now I sport New Balance the majority but I will also run occasionally in my Asics. No secret to it, just find a pair of shoes that looks awesome, doesn't cost $200, and keeps it sexy! (heard that at the park the other day, "just keep it sexy")

Also, if you pay for the membership on BT.com ($25 for 6 months I think) you can use the equipment tracker and it will tell you how many miles you have on shoes, bike tires, googles, swimsuits, all that stuff man!
