"Honeeey,,,where is my super-suit?"

has it really been almost a week since i posted? i've always been one of those people that can start something and then really just lose interest in it and totally give up on it. this bodes well for my writing career.
speaking of writing, i've been trying to get some accomplished at work. i work at a call center doing help desk for mostly, shall we say, novice computer users. i have lots of free time on my hands and figured writing would be the perfect use of this time. so far i've gotten about two, maybe two and a half pages done...since the last time i posted. hmm, two pages every four days...and i need about 300 pages...i might actually be done writing this thing in three years!
in all seriousness, its very easy to find things to do when you should be writing (or doing anything else, for that matter). recently, i got back into playing tecmo super bowl (yes, the 8-bit NES version) on an emulator (go FCE Ultra!) in between...and sometimes (well, usually) during calls. whats that you say? i should be writing at home anyway! well, i've also found that many tv shows that i would never have any interest in watching become very watchable when i should be writing.
and as long as we're in the world of entertainment, i must mention that i will be (hopefully) seeing Pixar's "The Incredibles" later today. i must say, i have always been very impressed with Pixar's efforts. even though they may be aimed at a younger audience, they are quite enjoyable.
in conclusion, i'll update my stats:
struck out - The Davinci Code, Dan Brown
at bat - Hidden Charges, Ridley Pearson
on deck - Digital Fortress, Dan Brown
(sorry MSM, I'm in a "Ridley Pearson place" ever since meeting him. Digital Fortress is next...I plomise...)
