only three days between posts? i'm getting better at this. well, open enrollment ends today at the company where i'm doing helpdesk work, so i may be out of a job soon. originally it was to be a six month project, and i've only been here for about two weeks, so surely they have more things in store for me.

"the Incredibles" was amazing, from an animation standpoint. a friend of mine and i were discussing how bad some of the "special" effects in the three new star wars movies looke so unbelievable and i had to comment that many of the animations in "the Incredibles" looked more realistic than stuff from star wars (cough, jar jar binks, cough). excuse me. story wise, i was pleased. the movie was not as funny as i had expected, thank you shrek/2, but overall, i thought it was good.

i feel compelled to share some stats from the world of tecmo super bowl. as i mentioned earlier, i am playing tecmo super bowl on the fce ultra nes emulator for pc. i am currently playing with the original TSB rom and have guided the LA Raiders to a perfect 8-0 mark, 341 points for and 60 points against. Stat wise, Bo Jackson has 177 carries for 3609 yards. hes averaging 20.3 yards per carry and 451 and change yards per game, with 46 TDs...through half a season!?! barring injury, this will go down as the greatest single season (for a running back) in the history of football. there. i guess i'm officially a "geek" now.

in the arena of writing...i have progressed very little thought-wise and none at all on the page itself. i have shamed myself and this blog.
