Very Understandable and commendably satisfactory...

First, before I forget, go Spurs go! Working on ring #4 in the 10th year of Tim Duncan's professional career. Not too shabby!
Second, been busy at work which should explain, though not excuse, the lack of posts.
Third, the title is taken from the book "The Third Policeman" by Brian O'Nolan . I have not read it yet but plan to this summer. It of course was seen (and is now linked) to my favorite show LOST. Apparently there are a lot of connections to the book. The wifey came up with a whole LOST reading list, which I assume I'll post on here in a day or so. I dont know if I've said it before, but LOST rules! I dont want it to end, but I know that all good things must come to an end and I'd sure hate to see the writers/cast/etc get signed up for an unecessary additional season, just for $$$. I dont see that happening. I think anybody involved in that show must know that they are making TV history every time they get in front of the camera. Three more seasons (48 episodes total) and they are out. Major "post-Seinfeld" issues will probably plague them all (not reaching the same level of success; not contributing to any long-lasting shows since; some pigeon-holing), but in the end, I think they'll be thrilled that they were part of something so special.
Fourth, another reason that I have been less post-minded, is that I've been working on a new book idea. My last idea, which I certainly have not abandoned, seemed to remind me of some show. The other night, I saw the premiere of "Traveler" on ABC and then I figured it out. Apparently, I saw the trailer for Traveler and thought about what it could/should be about (at least in my mind) and made my own version of it. Mine is not plagerized at all, just similar. My new idea is totally different, but does have some comparable qualities to LOST.
Lastly, Ryan Adams, as discussed in this space before (?), rules!
