Weekly wrapup

Sunday, January 27, 2008

Well, its Sunday night once again, and the last few precious hours of the weekend are slowly dying. The winds of change sound like they may be beginning to blow, but I'm not sure cause I have not been outside recently. It is, after all, an even numbered year. Hopefully, nothing will come of this and there won't be anything to expound upon later...but you never know.

Anywho, lets move on. We have our 2nd weigh-in tomorrow at work and the results from the first weigh-in will be posted...on our intranet site. Don't worry, I'll repost my results here for your perusal.

For a brief mention of the sports world, the #1 ranked Tigers are 19-0 and return to conference play on Wednesday (1/30) playing at Houston. On the other side of the mortarboard (hah), the Grizzlies are about to announce the impending buyout of Damon Stoudamire's contract. With Mike Conley and Kyle Lowry at the point, and Juan Carlos Navarro able to play the 1 spot as well, Mighty Mouse didn't have a lot to do with himself. Word around the league is that he will sign with Boston after the 48 hour waiting period, so he'll probably have a decent shot at a championship. At 13-31, in the Southwest division's basement, its not like he was going to make a big difference anyway.

As far as Halo 3 goes, I finally made Captain, but I've been stuck on skill 20 now for what seems like an eternity.

Seems like there were a couple of other notes I wanted to make tonight, but I can't think of them now. If I can remember them in the next couple of hours (early to bed for running in the morning!), I'll get back on. Otherwise...

G'night
