Shake it like a Polaroid picture
Saturday, February 09, 2008
Well, if you want to shake it like a Polaroid picture, you better hurry and and buy some Polaroids, since they are officially axing the little guy that started the whole "instant gratification" movement. They are closing the last three factories in the world (Massachusetts, Mexico and the Netherlands) that produced the iconic camera (and cutting 450 jobs) and will focus on "Polaroid-branded digital cameras, televisions and DVD players" as they are "trying to reinvent Polaroid so it lives on for the next 30 to 40 years." Thank you Outkast, but you may have been a little too late...

I just read about this myself - we can still buy some Polaroid instant film (for about a year), so we should stock up and have a Polaroid Party! CharChar would like some 'instant' prints!!

...over from jessica's blog.
I always thought the bumper stickers that said "I'd rather be Driving> Disco" were fabulous!
Haven't heard about this. I am so sad...I love my polaroid.
