Memphis basketball

Well, despite what espn basketball expert Jay Bilas had to say, the Memphis Tigers spanked (to use a word from espn's own description) the Michigan State Spartans 92-74. I call Bilas an expert because he picked Memphis to lose to MSU in the sweet 16, then turned around and picked Memphis to win in the elite 8 (even though he just said before that they would've lost in the sweet 16), then went on to pick Kansas, UCLA, UNC and, you guessed it, Memphis...to make the final four. So, espn basketball expert Jay Bilas, you picked all four #1 seeds to make the final four? Interesting picks, considering, what a limb you had to go out on to pick the top 4 ranked teams in the tournament to advance and considering that all four #1 seeds have never advanced to the final four, I deem you expert! See you in San Antonio, jerk! Here is a pick of Joey Dorsey dunking while three bewildered Michigan State honkies look on:
Now, just to prove that there is no bias against pro basketball in Memphis and that I don't hold any sort of grudge against Judas er, Pau Gasol, here is a picture that Laker fans should get very used to seeing:
Also Kobe Bryant (whose name will heretofore be pronounced like lobe, as in, no inflection on the "e") scores 53 points on the Grizz in LA and still can't win the game? And we're the fourth worst team in the league? Here's hoping the Lakers will get the Phoenix Suns in the first round, the "new" Shaq will sweep Kobe out of the playoffs (then lose to the eventual champion San Antonio Spurs) and Memphis will get the #1 pick in the draft! All those years of having the worst record in the league produced year after year of #4 picks, so surely, being the 4th worst record will win the #1 pick! Right?

Well I have never been a Memphis fan, but I did go out and buy a Tiger blue shirt to wear in support of them. I would like to see them win it all, but if Mich State had started fouling and putting them on the free throw line like MSU did, then who knows???
I agree about Judas and Kobe.
