Welcome back for another installment of #MusicMonday. Tonight's episode features Berkeley, California's "Why?" Originally the moniker of lead singer Jonathan "Yoni" Wolf, Why? has been around in some form or fashion since 1997, all the way back when Wolf was still at University of Cincinnati. Even though they've been around a while, I was just recently exposed to them and am starting to develop a real appreciation for their latest effort "Eskimo Snow."

Since that album doesn't come out until September 22nd, I'm not sure how I'm able to listen to it. I guess I'll have to admit it: I traveled forward in the future, all the way to September 22nd, bought the album, made a copy of it and brought it back here, to August 17th (not sure why I didn't grab a copy of Halo 3: ODST, that is dropping the same day, while I was there).

Anyway, here is "This Blackest Purse," ripped from the pages of youtube. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that this is not the "official" video for this song, since it is just a static picture and all. And I'm not sure which is worse, dude's sleeveless t-shirt or his haircut (no, I have no room to talk, just saying). Also, a rarity in these parts, but I must warn that this song does contain an adult lyric, so may not want to play in the office, or in front of junior.
