The first annual, Master Plan
Monday, January 14, 2008
Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I present the first annual Master Plan, 2008 edition.
As I mentioned earlier, this is not my list of New Year's resolutions. You can succeed or fail at resolutions. This is my list of "do-able" items. Things I know I can accomplish and either should have already started (and/or probably already finished). So, for your consideration...
1. Lose 50 lbs.
2. Write a book
3. Get something started/finished on my degree
Thats it. I guess there could be further additions as the year goes on, but then again, I would have less time to get those items accomplished. This is my first "master plan," so, all I ask is that you take it easy on me.
G'night!

Way to go! They always say the first step in making a change is to tell someone else. I think you have that one covered in a BIG way. You know your 6 readers will be cheering you on - even if the leaves didn't make the list. :)

The thing about the ficus leaves is this..
It is not something you can cross of your list. By the time you got them all done it would be time to start over. The kindest thing would be to put those trees out of their misery. I know a guy who will do it for 50 bucks.

But, you haven't considered this: my research shows that one burns 80 calories PER LEAF when scrubbing the dusty, sticky sap off with care. Sooooo, I think this is still a viable part of the Master Plan.

AND - what a riveting, unique, likely a bestseller novel could be written from the leaf-cleaning experience. Your perspective, our ATMOSPHERE..........can't lose.

How much do you weigh now? (I can ask that, I'm family.) How will we know when 50# is lost? I think you should post weekly weigh-ins for your 7 readers. Also, get a haircut, that's 5# right there.
10:29 AM
I guess I missed #4? Also, due to a workplace, incentive laden contest, I cannot reveal how much I weigh publicly. I will be getting weekly % lost reports, so I'll be glad to post that here if you like.
Also, how did you know I needed a haircut...?
How are Madden and NCAA going? Are you a Falcon or a Yellow Jacket?
9:00 AM
Getting a haircut will lose you 5# (lbs), I felt the need to explain that...?
Anyway, the talk of getting Rock Band has overruled any other conversations for the meantime, I'll keep you posted...
