Driving > Disco

Music: 2008 will go down as the year that I got into country music, in a big way. I won't go into all the dirty details, but suffice it to say, that I'm a fan of the genre now. I would say that I got back into Ryan Adams, but I never really got "out" of him, so we won't count him. In a remarkable turn of events, I've also found myself in a Bob Dylan place. After years of being pretty much anti-Dylan, I'm now totally into him. Towards the end of the year, I also got into Kanye West (though I don't care for him personally, or at least the racist persona he projects in public) and Daft Punk.

I know I blogged about them recently, but The Asteroids Galaxy Tour (album coming out in April!) and the Submarines must be mentioned as well.

I think that about wraps it up for my 2008 wrap up. Tomorrow we'll take a look at 2009 thus far and my plans for the rest of the year.
